At first glance, the songs of Jodi Breakers and the trailers look like a remake of the 2003 rom-com Intolerable Cruelty starring George Clooney and Catherine Zeta-Jones. The first song on the album is 'Kunwara', a quintessential wedding song sung by Salim Merchant. The mix of a DJ, good rhythms and the shenai make for a good opening.
This song is followed by the item number 'Bipasha' - beautifully sung by Shradha Pandit. This number has everything working for it - from Pandit's seductive voice to the lyrics, from the styles of music used in it (an arrangement of hip-hop, and qawali) to the beat. 'Bipasha' is also featured in a remix version in the album. Similarly 'Darmiyaan' and 'Mujhko Teri Zaroorat Hai' are featured twice on the album, as the original and remixed version.
All-in-all, the music isn't really memorable, but may be featured in the odd wedding in 2012.
